How to Get My I-94
An I94 is a record of your entry into the US. So, it changes every time you cross the border into the US. When you provide an I-94 to the DSOs it needs to have been printed within the last few days. There is always a date stamp on the document so the DSOs know.
Here are the instructions:
- Click "Get Most Recent I-94/I-95"
- Scroll down and click I ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE
- You can either click the "X" button in the top right, or try to use the "Capture Document" function.
- Enter the required information, then click NEXT
- Enter your First and Last name exactly as they appear in your passport. If that doesn't work, the CBP agent may have entered your name erroneously. Try different ways of entering your name. Flip the first and last names, move your middle name around. Just try all the different options until you find it.
- The "Document Number" is your Passport Number.
- Birthdate: Remember the US format is Month/Day/Year (MM/DD/YYYY)
- At the bottom, click CONTINUE
- Click PRINT at the very bottom.
- CHOOSE TO PRINT AS A PDF.---this is vital!
- This pdf is your I-94.
